The Favo table belonging to Dieffebi's Table&Seating line is to enter the international "GrandesignEtico 2011" competition to be held by the Associazione Culturale Plana in Milan next autumn.
The first stage of the competition will involve a preview of the projects submitted by the 100 finalist companies in the context of a multi-media exhibition due to be held on 16th September at Milan's prestigious Spazio Oberdan.
Favo, designed by Paolo Favaretto, was selected by a committee of leading figures from the world of design and creativity on the basis of ethical and design parameters.
Functionality, ease of use, innovation and marketability as well as social commitment and environmental safeguarding are just some of the criteria adopted by the experts that will allow Dieffebi to compete for the prestigious prize to be consigned in Milan on 25th November at the conclusion of a convention on the twin issues of ethics and industrial manufacturing.
Favo, a product dedicated to the contract sector and designed for both indoor and outdoor use, sets itself the ambitious aim of embodying all these qualities. Its minimalist geometric lines perfectly translate the inspiration and simplicity of nature, in particular, the complex efficient structure of the honeycomb.
Dieffebi's presence among the entrants competing for this prestigious award underlines the importance of research, experiments and attention for the environment and the satisfaction of the final consumer for this company, which has always been capable of discovering innovative new solutions.
