Thinking beyond

and certifications

Thinking beyond
Dieffebi has an ISO14001 certificate, the international standard of environmental management, and one from NF Environment, the only voluntary certificate in Europe which bears witness to the full environmental sustainability of the metal furnishings.

In 2011 the photovoltaic plant project was completed on the roofs of its own headquarters. It can produce about 120,000kWh, significantly contributing to reducing the exploitation of natural resources.

In 2012 an avant-guard automatic surface treatment plant was installed with the aim not only of increasing manufacturing efficiency and flexibility but also to further reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing processes through low energy consumption solutions.

Environmental sustainability also means the use of recyclable materials. For this, Dieffebi designs its products in preparation for them being recycled, simplifying the dismantling of components and the separation of the various materials for easier disposal. In addition the company uses recyclable packaging, further contributing to reducing the use of valuable natural resources.
“Steel is versatile, creative, 100% recyclable and can be re-used indefinitely.”

LEED Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a voluntary building certification system worldwide recognized. The LEED® standard was established in America by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a non-profit association whose aim is the promotion and development of a global approach to sustainability, giving recognition to virtuous performance in key areas of human and environmental health.
The certification constitutes an independent third party verification of a building's performance (or part of it) and/or urban areas.

WELL Well Building Standard™

It is the first standard of its kind which focuses exclusively on the health and well-being of the building's occupants, through the definition of 100 performance metrics, design strategies and policies that can be implemented.
The WELL® certification of a building may lead to a constructed environment that contributes to improving nutrition, fitness, mood, sleep, comfort and user performance.
The certification system is of a holistic type, similar to the LEED protocol, divided into specific thematic areas, within which the performances must be measured, monitored and then certified, in detail.

QualityNet believes that the excellent quality of Dieffebi furnishing elements can contribute to the achievement of the LEED® certification score in the credits indicated in the following data sheets.
